Why and how we use your personal information

When you subscribe to our mailing list we ask for a first name and email address. We ensure you will only receive information related to what you signed up for and always give the opportunity to unsubscribe. 

We are lawfully able to use this information due to our legitimate interest to provide you with information related to the topics you have expressed an interest in.

The site only collects first name and email address from you and this information is held with Mailchimp, our service provider. You are free to unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time and we will hold onto this data while Karen HB’s services as a photographer continue.

Where personal data is controlled and processed directly by Karen HB photography, we will retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to continue providing these services and to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy and data policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

1. You can opt out of receiving our email newsletter, so that we don't use your personal data to send you information about food photography. You can request that we stop sending our emails on the topic of food photography to you at any time, by using the unsubscribe link that we provide at the bottom of all of our emails. Please note that if you purchased a product from us, we may still email you with important information that is required to provide you with this service.
